Solution Preparation & Concentration Planning
A calculation-first framework for converting vial mass and final solution volume into a documented laboratory concentration.
Start from labelled mass
Record the total mass shown on the vial and the exact volume used in the preparation record. Keep milligrams and micrograms explicit.
Calculate concentration
Divide total mass by final solution volume. Record both mg/mL and mcg/mL when your worksheet uses both units.
Cross-check independently
Repeat the arithmetic outside the tool, compare the result with the approved protocol, and document who verified it.
A calculator is not a protocol
PeptideVault tools provide laboratory arithmetic only. They do not select a compound, set an experimental amount, or provide human or veterinary guidance.
Continue in the PeptideVault research workspace.
Use current catalogue data and published batch records as separate, cross-checkable sources.
